Project Description

This project consists of the interior renovation of portions (approximately 5,300 s.f.) of the first level and basement of the existing 54,000 s.f. Student Health Center (A.P. Beutel Health Center) on the main campus of Texas A&M University in College Station. The renovation adds eight (8) Exam Rooms, one (1) Triage Exam Room, a front reception, a Patient Services Department and all associated circulation and support space. The Patient Services Department includes admitting workstations, patient records, nurse station, vital station, command post, charting, soiled linen area, and storage. In the basement, a space is retrofit to accommodate a BOD POD for the testing and measurement of body composition, enabling monitoring for obesity and measuring the success of nutrition and exercise programs.

This renovation is intended to improve the delivery of service for an increase of 100 patients per day.
