The Dallas County Grand Prairie Sub-Courthouse is a 31,700 s.f. facility with two courts anchoring the building – Truancy Court and Justice of the Peace Court, along with their associated support offices and spaces. The Tax Office and its auxiliary conference, office, cashier and work areas, accommodates an information center and service counters for up to eleven clerks. Other significant program functions in the facility include Juvenile Probation and Constable office areas; and main lobby that also directs visitors, controls access, and provides exit ways from the building. In addition to circulation, public and staff rest rooms, service, break and custodial services areas are provided. This facility is EPA Energy Star rated.
